Saturday Spankings - The Code of the West

Welcome to my blog for this week's #SatSpanks blog hop!

My 8 sentences this week continue on from the snippet I shared last week.

She was surprised by how much it stung. She knew Mr Jordan was still recovering from his injuries, she knew he couldn’t put much strength into spanking her. Yet on cold, wet, bare skin, his hard hand felt like a branding iron.

He spanked her hard and fast on alternate cheeks, spreading them out to cover her entire bottom and the tops of her thighs. With each smack, Jed yelped and wriggled, kicking her feet, trying to escape the stinging smacks that just kept landing. Mr Jordan kept up the assault on her backside, spanking her in a steady rhythm, until Jed was limp over his lap, sobbing hard.

Her bottom was one big mass of pain; she wasn’t even aware when Mr Jordan stopped spanking and instead just rested his hand lightly on her burning bottom. She lay over his lap, sobbing wretchedly.

The Code of the West and The Ways of the West have been combined into one paperback volume: The Heart of the West

Blurb:
In the years since the tragic death of her parents, Jedda-Lyn Cross has given everything she has to keep the family ranch running. She has grown accustomed to getting no help at all from her alcoholic brother, but when his violent, sadistic friend tries to make Jedda his wife against her will, it is the last straw.

Her attacker is the son of the richest family in town, and with the corrupt sheriff ready to do his bidding Jedda is desperate to leave town in a hurry. With no money and no horse, her best chance of making her escape comes in the form of a soon-to-be-departing cattle drive led by the famous trail boss Wes Jordan. But a young woman has little hope of gaining employment on a cattle drive, so drastic measures will be required…

Wes is none too pleased when he discovers that the new drover he hired is actually a beautiful twenty-two-year-old woman disguised as a boy, but after hearing Jedda’s story he promises to protect her. As he quickly realizes, however, that will be easier said than done. Jedda is sassy, headstrong, and in serious need of a good, hard, bare-bottom spanking, and when her reckless disregard for her own safety finally pushes him too far, Wes takes her firmly in hand.

After a painful, humiliating punishment from the handsome trail boss, Jedda is left with her bottom burning and her mind set awhirl. In spite of everything, she aches for Wes to take her in his arms, and when at last he does the pleasure of his skillful, passionate lovemaking nearly takes her breath away. But with her obsessed former suitor and his hired guns still after her, can she bring herself to accept the fact that, for a man like Wes, risking his life to protect the woman he loves is just part of what it means to live by the code of the west.

Publisher’s Note: The Code of the West is an erotic romance novel that contains sexual scenes and spankings, including domestic discipline in a historical setting. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

“I’m going to make sure you understand.” He took a step back. “Turn around and lean over the bed.”

“No, please,” she begged. “I’ll never do it again.”

“Carrie,” he caught her chin, “do you trust me?”

Her eyes slid to the strap he already had in his other hand, its mean black length doubled and twice as scary. But she knew he’d never hurt her beyond what she could endure. “I trust you.”

“Good. Then submit to your punishment, like a good girl.” He let go of her chin. “Up and over the bed.”

Author Bio

Lee spent most of her childhood in a world of her own imagination. After graduating with a degree in creative writing and winning the Hollins fiction prize for her Viking-werewolves-of- 9th century-Norway novel (Raven & Wolf), she got a 'real job'. Upon turning thirty, she self-published five titles and is happily back to living an imaginary world. She's super excited about partnering with Blushing Books to publish her erotic Westerns, and hopes you are enjoying the fictional town of Royal, Colorado as much as she is.

The Heart of the West ~ Cover Reveal!

This is the last blog post for the Wip It Up Wednesday blog hop with Melody Parks at the helm. Thanks so much for all your hard work Melody - I've had fun doing this hop :)
And huge thanks to Meredith for taking over and keeping this great blog hop going!

This week I'm sharing an excerpt from my latest release The Code of The West, the standalone sequel to The Ways of The West.
But first, some exciting news - my two westerns have been combined into one paperback volume - The Heart of the West which is available now!

Excerpt from The Code of the West
Cal glared at her, and she glared right back at him defiantly, feeling brave now that she had the big trail boss for protection.
“I’ve come to take you home,” he told her.
“I’m not going home,” she stated, shaking her head. “I’m not going anywhere with you.” She felt Mr Jordan’s big hand squeeze her shoulder, encouraging her.
“You heard the lady,” Mr Jordan growled. “Get out.”
“Lady?” Cal sneered. “She ain’t no lady! I took that away from her, right on her kitchen floor. She put up a fight, but I know she enjoyed it.”
“You lying bastard!” she screamed, about to launch herself at him, but Mr Jordan held her fast, gripping her upper arms firmly.
“Get out of here,” he repeated, his voice hard and cold.
“Not without her.” Cal pointed at Jed.
“She doesn’t want to go with you,” Mr Jordan snarled.
“Well that’s a shame, isn’t it?” another, familiar, voice called from behind them. Jed turned to see Neil holding Billy in a headlock, a gun to his temple. “I don’t think she has a choice. You give me back my sister, I’ll give you back your man.”
Mr Jordan was silent. He looked from Cal to Neil, then from Jed to Billy, and back again. He was obviously thinking. The men were all watching curiously, their hands on their guns, ready to back up their boss the instant the order was given.
Jed looked at Billy. He looked scared – he had no idea what was going on, or why he was being used as a pawn in such a dangerous game.
She could see Cal looking around the camp, counting up the men. The odds were not in his favour, so she knew he would be cautious. He was an experienced fighter, but he fought best when he had the advantage.
“Are you willing to fight for her?” Cal asked venomously.
Mr Jordan stepped forward. “I’ll fight for her.”
Immediately, Neil pushed Billy sideways, and the boy stumbled against the side of the chuck wagon. Monty hurried to him, but Billy was unhurt.
“No! Weston!” she screamed; she knew Cal’s reputation. He was a fighter, a dirty one, and he’d never lost a fight. At least, not that she knew of. She knew he would have a knife stashed somewhere – he didn’t fight just with his fists. This would not be a fair fight, there would be no rules. Cal was a master at this. Mr Jordan would get hurt, and all because of her. “Stop!” she screamed again. “Cal, stop!” she pleaded. “I’ll go with you!” she cried, desperate. She couldn’t watch the man she’d come to care so much about, get hurt.
“No you won’t!” Mr Jordan yelled. “Davey, hold her!” he ordered.
Frantic, she tried to run to Mr Jordan, to intervene, but strong arms caught her and held her fast and although she kicked and struggled, she was no match for his strength; he restrained her easily.
“Be still, bosses orders,” Davey commanded her softly.
Cal threw the first punch, she held her breath. So far, Mr Jordan was dodging all Cal’s blows and landing a few of his own, enthusiastically cheered on by the drovers. But Jed’s heart was in her throat. She knew Cal, she’d seen him fight before. He wouldn’t be an easy man to beat. Mr Jordan was tough, and he was bigger, but Cal was the better fighter. She flinched at every punch Mr Jordan took, wishing more than anything that someone would put a stop to this. Why wasn’t someone doing something? Why were two grown men fighting over her?
Mr Jordan landed a combination of solid punches to Cal’s body and face and he crumpled to the ground. Thinking it was over, Mr Jordan started to turn, and that was when Cal pulled out his knife. He staggered to his feet and brandished the knife in front of him, advancing towards Mr Jordan with a triumphant gleam of victory in his eyes. Jed gasped as Cal thrust the knife at Mr Jordan, slashing his arm. She saw Mr Jordan grab his arm in pain, blood trickling out between his fingers. Horrified, she turned and buried her face in Davey’s shirt. She couldn’t watch.

Maiden Claimed by Ravyn Rayne

I have Ravyn Rayne on my blog today sharing her erotic historical romance Maiden Claimed: Palace Secrets Book Two

It was supposed to be a simple trip to the market in Paris.
Nothing for Lady Hannah is ever simple.
One secret after another.
The lies are mounting up.
Lady Hannah has made a deal with the devil. Worse she’s falling in love with him. There’s no turning back.
A steamy medieval romance filled with spankings and erotic pleasures.

Available on Kindle Unlimited for FREE or just $2.99 on Amazon

Waiting outside the bathhouse, a gentleman, with honey-golden hair and eyes as green as the blades of grass on a summer’s day, stops in front of me. He looks me over and smiles. His face is covered in scruff and dirt licks his skin. “I approve.”
There’s an arrogance surrounding this man, and I have the urge to silence him.
“You approve of what?” I ask and cross my arms defensively. My eyes narrow, unpleased.
“I approve of you joining me in the bathhouse. Though I admit you look pretty clean already. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised.” He reaches out to touch a strand of my blonde hair and I swat his fingers away and force his arm down to his side.
“You’ve lost your mind.” My grip on his wrist is forceful, showing him who’s boss.
“What do you think you’re doing?” he asks, glancing down at my hand still holding his wrist.

A Character Interview with Hannah

Do you ever feel jealous of the queen, your former mistress and friend? She’s still very much my friend. Sometimes late at night I’m jealous of the romance between Ella and Alexander, but I’ve come to accept my position at court. As for Ella being queen, that’s a job I would never want.

How hard is it for you to keep a secret?Lies mounting up will get you caught. The goal is to weave a tale of truths into the secret so that you remember every detail. There are times I wish I didn’t have to keep secrets, but my life and those I love depend on it. I know how to keep my mouth shut. It’s not easy but I’m careful.

You travel to Paris quite a bit. Do you like it there? It’s absolutely beautiful. There’s a wealth of silk, jewels, and other fine goods at the market that I can’t easily get elsewhere.

What do you think about the men in Paris?I avoid most of them as best I can. If I brought a gentleman back to the palace, Ella or Alexander would likely have my head.

#SatSpanks ~ The Code of the West ~

Welcome to my blog for more Saturday Spankings!

“But a bare bottom spanking is exactly what you need.

If you’d followed my orders you wouldn’t have nearly drowned,” he scolded.
“I told everyone that couldn’t swim to go over on the wagon.
Cowboys die at river crossings, they drown.
You could have drowned. You would have, if it wasn’t for Woody.”

Mr Jordan put a hand in the small of her back to steady her, and raised his other hand high.
He brought it down with a resounding slap that made her yelp and jump. “Stay still,” he ordered.
“This has barely started.”

Jaye Peaches - Taken as Payment

Jaye Peaches is visiting my blog today with her latest book Taken as Payment.

Hi Kelly, thank you for the invite. I’m sharing a spanking from my latest book, Taken as Payment. Iona is Xane’s new servant, and has been given to him as a reward for collecting taxes. Iona, a rebellious young woman and conscript, has refused to wear the compulsory collar.

“You refuse to obey me, Iona, so this is what happens when you show me disrespect and bad attitude—I will spank you until I am satisfied and I believe you have atoned.”
The smack echoed around the room, knocking the wind out of her lungs with its suddenness. She bit down on her lip. It hurt, far more than she had anticipated. Another slap swept across the other ass cheek, as equal in power to the first. She jolted, bucking her hips slightly and her legs twitched, desperate to kick out.
Another, then another, back and forth without pause, and simply catching her breath proved challenging. Tears smarted in her eyes and she blinked them back. She wouldn’t cry, not for him.
He slowed slightly, but only so she could hear his words. “I’m a patient man, Iona. I will keep this up longer than you can defy me. I don’t want us to fight. I want you to accept the situation and move on to serve me, as a good Conscripti should.”
Never, she wanted to shout back, but the word glued itself to her throat, refusing to be heard. He spoke with a calmness, an authority that she recalled her father used occasionally. The smooth tone crept under her stubborn skin and into her troubled mind.
“The collar will bind you to me, and only to me. If you get lost or fall ill, it ensures I am brought to you. Without it, you are uncared for and the authorities will treat you with dispassion. You are my responsibility.” Again, the clear enunciation of his voice penetrated her thoughts.
It was just an ID band. She understood its purpose. What she couldn’t admit was that she couldn’t take the spanking much longer. Each chastising glance of his firm hand left what felt like a welt. She counted her blessings that her bottom had ample flesh; however, her clenching muscles did her no favors. She met his hand with cast-iron tension, and it became apparent her ire was working against her.
A tear dropped out of the corner of her eye and landed on the carpet. Now, she wanted him to stop, end the burning fire in her butt. It raged and his pinning arm and leg gave her no leeway to move or respond.
Another smack struck lower, on the crease between thigh and buttock and she let out a screech. Each time he spanked her, she cried out, and the tears fell freely. Please. Stop. That was what she wanted to say, but the words failed to materialize.

When she is taken from her home and forced to work in the powerful city of Chandros to pay the debts of her small farming community, twenty-year-old Iona Meers is furious. After an intimate, humiliating medical examination conducted in full view of Chief Inspector Xane—the man she considers responsible for her predicament—her seething anger turns into outright defiance.
Having noted both Iona’s rebelliousness and her helpless arousal during her examination, Xane decides to bring her home with him as his personal servant. Iona’s disobedience quickly results in her being pulled over Xane’s knee for a long, hard spanking on her bare bottom, yet despite her best efforts to ignore her body’s response to his dominance, she soon realizes that there is a reason Xane is known among his people for his skill as a virgin claimer.
Iona’s longing for Xane’s touch grows stronger with each passing day, and yielding to his dominant lovemaking arouses her beyond anything she could have ever imagined. But when a long-buried secret from her past comes to light and calls everything Iona thought she knew about herself into question, will it strengthen her bond with Xane or tear them apart forever?
Publisher’s Note: Taken as Payment is an erotic romance novel that includes spankings, sexual scenes, medical play, anal play, elements of BDSM, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

Fire Licked - by Allison West

Allison West is on my blog today sharing her sexy new fireman story!
I have a firemen calendar hanging on my wall & some of those men are scorching hot!

Who doesn’t love a sexy, dominant fireman?
After a tough breakup, Lexa Mae decides she needs a change. From the southern plains of South Dakota to the Big Apple, Lexa books a hotel room and spa package at the prestigious Sterling Hotel in Times Square.
Looking forward to a relaxing getaway, Lexa’s fun is spoiled the moment handsome fireman Jules Sinclair knocks on her door, ordering an evacuation.  Wearing nothing but a towel, she slams the door in his face, unwilling to leave just yet.
Forced from the hotel as an explosion rocks the seventh floor, Lexa has managed to secure her dress but no panties as the handsome fireman Jules rescues her from the burning flames. With no friends in the city and her belongings destroyed, she has nowhere else to go.
Jules invites Lexa to the fire station, offering her clothes, shelter, and even a hard spanking for dismissing his order to evacuate.
Will she learn to submit to Jules or is the heat just too much?

EXCERPT
A loud knocking pounded at the door. “NY Fire Department!” A voice shouted as he knocked on her door.
“Shit!” She shut the shower off and grabbed a white towel, wrapping it around her torso. Lexa walked to the door, poking her head out.
A man, dressed in a NYFD outfit stood with his helmet on. “Ma’am, you need to evacuate the building.”
“What? Why?” Lexa asked, cinching the towel to her chest.
His blue eyes were captivating. His New York accent entrancing.
“Can’t say. We’ve been ordered to evacuate the entire premises.”
“That’s absurd!” Lexa huffed. “Let me get my clothes on.” She didn’t give him time to object. She slammed the door in his face, dropped her towel, and stalked back to the bathroom to get her dress back on.
From inside the bathroom, she pulled the little black dress on over her head, reaching for her panties when the ground rumbled as an explosion rocked the seventh floor of the hotel, drowning the entire floor in flames and smoke, and tossing her against the wall.
